Facebook no longer pays as before. Here's what you can do to keep making money from Facebook even when not yet monetised

You see this Facebook thing? It’s not paying like before.

Back then, once you hit some views or followers, money go dey drop steady. But now, things don change. Facebook has reduced how much they pay for views, and they’re focusing more on short videos (Reels), original content, and engagement. If you just post anyhow or copy other people’s stuff, you won’t earn much.

So what are smart content creators doing now?

1. They’re building loyal followers, not just chasing views. When people trust you, they’ll follow you anywhere—even outside Facebook.

2. They’re selling something. It can be their own product, someone else’s product (affiliate), or even digital services like eBooks, courses, or shoutouts.

3. They’re using Facebook to drive traffic to other platforms that pay better—like YouTube, TikTok, or even WhatsApp for business.

4. They’re working with brands. Once your page looks clean and active, small businesses will pay you to promote their stuff.

5. They’re creating original Reels. Facebook loves short videos that make people laugh, learn, or feel something. That’s where the money still dey.

So if you’re still waiting for Facebook to pay you like before, you go wait taya. It’s time to be smart. Use your page to build a brand, sell something, or attract opportunities.

Don’t just scroll and complain. Start creating with purpose. Your next post could change your life.

If you’re serious about making money online, drop a “🔥” in the comments or share this with someone who needs to hear it. Let’s grow together.
